The gel is a clear light watery texture. It absorbs fast into the skin. It feels like you are rubbing water around your face without it sitting on top. My face felt dry with no sickness. Although this gel absorbs fast, I personally do not think this gel is for my skin and did not notice much of a difference using it. I will pass this along to my son who needs it for his skin type. This is created to help inflammation, redness, rosacea, acne, stressed skin and tired skin. This contains 80% Centella Asiatica Extract which helps to repair the skin tissue and known to have potent antioxidants.
