I've used the Cacao Moist and Mild cream and i really like it. It's a perfect moisturizer for normal/oily skin type in humid weather/tropical country like Malaysia. And i expected the same from this serum, and it's deliver! My skin has always been dehydrated, by mid day (if i didn't apply a few layers of essence before moisturizer) my oil-water production will be unbalanced; where my T-zone is dang oily and my U-zone is sahara desert.
This colorless, scentless serum has a light texture to it and absorbed really fast to the skin, my skin just drink it up in secs and leaving no tackiness, just skin feeling hydrated, moist and happy. I tried to take before and after photo but lighting just make it like it had not making any different to my skin texture but me myself feels the difference on the day i'm using it and the day i didn't. It does make a difference.
I've applied it day and night, right after essence and seal it with a moisturizer. My oil-water production is balanced, no more oily T-zone and sahara U-zone. I've never tried Jordan Samuel hydrating serum (always wanted to try that!) but i think this can be a dupe from Asian/Korean skincare?
I've never know that Cacao extract does provide strong moisture and nutritive benefits to the skin, Benton's Cacao cream and serum are the first Cacao products i've tried and it's really magical. I like them both.
