We have removed ‘Cruelty Free’ mark on the package starting from this year

to compliance with the EU Cosmetics Regulations

In Europe, Animal Testing is not allowed,

so we were informed that we cannot claim ‘Cruelty Free’ by the regulation.

EU Cosmetics Regulation No 655/2031 :

Legal Compliance : Claims which convey the idea that a product has a specific benefit

 when this benefit is mere compliance with minimum legal requirements shall not be allowed.

Please note that we, Benton, are still Cruelty free brand certified in PETA organization.
